Exclusives… We don’t really associate that word with consoles anymore. Almost every game can be found on the PC, PS3 as well as the Wii and ofcourse the XBOX360. Which is why, when word does come out of an exclusive game, people pounce on it straight away. So for the first time in a long while, the rabid gamer will be covering (GASP) NEWS, instead of reviews or opinions.

That’s right. And the news here is about, if you couldn’t guess from the title, Alan Wake Night Springs. Now then, for those not in the know, Alan Wake is about an author (three guesses what his name is…), whose wife disappears, and who constantly experiences blackouts. Sounds like just about any horror movie I know. He also sees characters from his latest novel… the catch is, he doesn’t even remember writing it.

“Cut the chit chat, give us the news already!” Well fine, Mr. Impatient. The big news is that we’re getting a… well it’s not a sequel, nor a DLC… Think we can call it a spin off. Right now, not much is known about it, except the title, Alan Wake Night Springs, and the fact that it’ll be an XBOX 360 Arcade title only… I reckon that’s because the original game was the most pirated of the whole year.

The game will also be structured like the original, separated into episodes… each of which will be downloadable… so yay, we get to pay even more money… let’s just hope it’s a bit cheaper than most downloadable games, or there’s not really much point paying for it.
