Or they could set an example for what a survival game should be like in this era of our lives. I’m hoping it’ll shine as an example or burn the way for something better

Nah. It was announced at the VGA’s last year, and the trailer above was just released almost a week ago. It’ll most likely be retail considering the hype around it and the fact that the cut scenes we were shown look so crisp. But you bring up an interesting point; what if it was download-only?

That’s what it feel like when the devs describe it. They say they’ll focus more on survival than action, but we’ll see. I’m probably gonna hedge my bets and say that it probably will be out sometime next year since there’s not even a test date attached.

I can’t tell you how much time I invested into Borderlands since I played it SO much. For some reason I just don’t feel the hype for this title. I am still going to buy it and most likely enjoy it but I am not that hyped since I haven’t seen any BIG gameplay changes.

Let me make this clear: I love myself some robots. Even more if they transform. War for Cybertron was without a doubt the best Transformers game ever released. From the ‘Formers look to the actual mechanic, everything was better than the previous tries (not that it was that hard since every game with the “Transformers” brand on the cover was pretty much terrible). So I’m pretty hyped to get Fall of Cybertron.

I find such a game a welcome addition. In a time where many franchises focus on the action instead of focusing on what made them good, a game that (supposedly) puts action on the second plane and focuses on the survival element is indeed something to look forward to, even if only to see what they did right/wrong.

This game’s existence makes me feel things that would be completely improper to describe here. I’ll admit that I love Atlus, I love Arc and I would punch a baby for more Megaten.

But seriously, I have high hopes for this game. Arc’s usually great when it comes to their games’ balance, and the Persona universe by itself has a pretty good cast of memorable characters so I guess it’s a pretty good combo. But if you say that they’ll cross over with some other Megaten universes such as Devil Survivor or Avatar Tuner I’ll just go there and love the everlasting crap out of them.

Every other game has been delayed, so why wouldn’t this one? No, I’m not bitter or anything….

I actually hadn’t seen anything about this one. I think you’re right about it probably being more along the lines of Resident Evil 2. It looks pretty good, though, so I may check it out anyway.

I’ve never actually played any of the Assassin Creed games but I’ve been seeing a lot of hype and commercials for this game while watching people stream on twitch.tv. Maybe i’ll look into purchasing this. Thanks for sharing

I played dead or alive 4 on xbox 360. The solo play was fun but when it came to online play there was massive lag all the time and people using cheap tactics to one shot other people. I hope those same mistakes dont make it into this game and maybe it’ll be worth buying. Otherwise no thanks lol

This game has me really excited. Assassin’s Creed 2 was one of the best games I have ever played but Brotherhood and Revelations just didn’t seem as amazing to me. I’m hoping this game will bring the Assassin’s Creed series back to its former glory .

I have never played a Hitman game in my life. After watching a few gameplay videos of the older games in the series it seems pretty decent. I never knew Square Enix made anything besides RPGs!
