I came close to hitting last years numbers. The reason for the decline, and this is for my new followers, is because I sold a lot of bad high yield traps from my 1st year investing. I reinvested that money into more quality stocks. Even with the change, I came close to $17 this year. I am happy with this.

This month was a bit slow going but I managed to remain green. I had some financial bills to take care of so my Roth IRA contributions lacked substantially this month. I started July with $1,862.02 and ended the month with $1,938.77. That is only a $76.75 addition for the month. However, that is part of the journey and I am ok with that.

For the month of May I added a few stocks. I added CLM, PFE, NEP, ET and IEP. Check out the breakdown below to see what I made so far. As I mentioned before I got rid of a lot of bad stocks and focused on quality so my dividends took a hit but that is ok. I am happy with what I have here.

Gonna keep this one short. As mentioned before I sold a lot of bad stocks and replaced them with quality ones. I expect to be slightly under from last year going forward this year, However next year will be higher if not double the amount. I am hoping to finish the year strong and keep adding to my positions each month without interruption.
